Fleety
Long time no post...
But I feel like wending a bit of frustration today, so here it goes:

This was the most annoying day I've had in quite a while.

First of all, I woke up with my throat hurting something bad -.- Well okay, happens sometimes, I'll get a sore throat rather easily, espacially in winter (of course winter is already over, and it's been about 20°C during the last week.) I'll just take some medicine, no big deal...

When I leave the house to catch the bus, what do I forget at home? To take the tablets for my throat with my of course -.-' Still, nothing to be surprised at, typically me...

So, I'm standing at the bus stop, waiting. And waiting, and waiting, waiting still. No bus. Great. And i wasn't the only one standing there, so don't tell me I missed it because i was late. I wasn't!
Now, you see, today I've had an important test to write, which means being late would have been very, very bad.
Good thing I picked a bus which still left me with some time to spare...
I took the next one, half an hour later...

I made it in time, but it was a close call. I had to run, eun up these bloody stairs! (Note to self: Need to do more sport, have no stamina to speak of)

I burst into the room with one minute to spare. Looking around I noticed something was off... there were supposed to be bags and boxes filled with stones and such for the practical part. But everybody was just leaning over a single piece of paper, what the...? Gotta ask the professor what's going on... and that's when I learned that only those who study geography are taking the test at that time. My time will be, with the geology students, 2 hours later! Fantasic, that after I nearly killed myself trying to be there on time (yeah, I'm exaggerating, I know, so what?)
Definitly wasn't my fault I had the wrong time down! *pouts*
We've gotten a mail telling us that the test would be at 12, check! Another mail directed at the geography students (but everybody else got it as well), telling them to be there at 10 am (nothing to do with me, so I'm still up for 12), check. Mail number three, "the date has been moved" I never saw it moving o.O still the same date as in mail one, but we were notified that the test would now be held at 10 am! Check.
That's when I got there... and considering that I saw several guys from the course, already hanging around in the building next doors (much more comfy than the building the "lab" is in) when I got there, I wasn't the only one who missed the non-existing mail number four ò.ó

Yay, two more hours time for me to study, if only I had known that before... I would have taken my notes with me...

Finally time to get the test over and done with... I'll tell you this... it was horrible... espacially the paleonthology part was *shudders* don't get me wrong, I usually love paleonthology, and I could name all the fossils stored in the little box I've gotten as well as the time they are from. But why did they have to ask about the one "biological innovation" I've complety left out learning 'cause try as I might, I cannot remember this one stupid litte word ("Amniota" doesn't sound too hart does it? But once again I had to look it up, for some unfathomable reason it just keeps slipping again and again *grrr*).

On to sedimentoloy that ought to be fun, playing around with acid and making the rocks fizzle. Of course I never get the calcit ones... boring!
Let's try something else, how about pouring this acid in an open wound, sounds like fun? The rock might not have reacted, but my finger sure did, it was sending the message "pain-pain-pain!" along my nerves, how about that? (No, it wasn't on purpose, I just wasn't paying attention when handling the rock after I dribbled that stuff over it, it usually doesn't matter if you get it on your skin... but I forgot about that cut on my finger... and it hurt >.<)

I'll leave out the rest of the test, it really wasn't my day. Halfway through I was wondering if this day could get any worse... well I though, at least it's not that time of the month for me yet, that would really top it of.... wait a moment! Is that blood between my legs?
Yes, perfect timing. isn't it?

And that was my day, now I'm going to bed before anything else happens... Good night!
